With gas costs reaching near all-time highs, concerns about how much you’re really spending have to be given some serious thought. Now available in the Apple App Store, Cost2Drive is “the easiest way to discover how much it costs to drive anywhere in the US.”

With functionality that helps you figure out how much your trip will cost, based on travel distance and vehicle type, the company is pleased with the amount of website traffic it is seeing since its inception in 2008.

Website visits are up 100% year-over-year and now surpass 50,000 per month, and a new redesigned version is in the works and can be previewed at www.costtodrive.com/beta. The new iPhone app is a hit right out of the gate and is already a Top 20 Paid Travel App less than a week after launching in iTunes.

The Cost2Drive team includes lead developer Michael Siegel, co-founder Jim Kovarik (formerly of AOL), co-founder Petar Canic (of Canic Interactive) and Bryan Musial, who coded the iPhone app code.

Take Cost2Drive for a spin on the web at http://www.costtodrive.com/ or via Apple’s App Store.
