Teamstory: The Community for Entrepreneurs and Startups That Fits in Your Hand

The startup life isn’t easy for idea-stage entrepreneurs or for seasoned veterans. The uncertainty and risk involved in entrepreneurship can kick even the most established player down a notch. And it can often be a long and lonely road filled with obstacles that would make the most seasoned Tough Mudder competitor wave a white flag. But what if there was a community that you could count on for support, feedback, and advice? And what if the people within this community were walking down the same path as you?

Well…there’s an app for that. Say hello to Teamstory, a community for entrepreneurs and startups that fits in your pocket, purse, or fanny pack – do people still wear fanny packs? I digress. Created by Kevin D.H Kim, Freddy Hidalgo-Monchez, and Justin Lee, Teamstory is the community every entrepreneur and startup should be part of. “We want Teamstory to be THE social network when it comes to capturing and sharing your startup life with moments and thoughts.” With 700 entrepreneurs from 63 countries and the app no longer being invite-only, they’re well on their way to accomplishing their goal.

How does Teamstory work?

teamstory-appAlthough comparisons to Instagram have been drawn, Teamstory is much more than another photosharing app. There are three core features:

  • Photosharing — share unique moments in your startup journey
  • Thoughts — share a thought or ask a question
  • Links — share a link from the web

Although Teamstory has nifty features, where the real value lies is in the community and how much they go out of their way to help one another succeed — whether it’s providing feedback on a new design or giving advice to a first time entrepreneur.

The future’s bright for this one

The Teamstory team is still at early-stage, and they’re working tirelessly to create an amazing experience for their users. I look forward to watching this app evolve.

Teamstory is currently on iOS only, but an Android version is in the works.
