Boston’s ChoiceStream Brings in $14M to Expand Programmatic Platform

ChoiceStream, the Boston, MA-based provider of programmatic advertising for brands and agencies, announced yesterday that it closed a $14 million Series C round of funding. North Atlantic Capital led the 14-year-old company’s financing, and included additional investments from previous investors.

San Diego’s Portfolium Brings in $1.2M to Help Prepare College Students for Job Market

The San Diego, CA-based Portfolium, a company whose Web-based social network helps college students prepare to find their first jobs, announced yesterday that it raised $1.2 million in new financing. The company offers “e-portfolios” that enables students to showcase various skills, experiences, and projects. Portfolium is a Tech Cocktail San Diego alum.

Sun Basket Closes $4.5M Seed Round for DIY Dinner Service

Sun Basket, a San Francisco, CA-based do-it-yourself meal delivery service that emphasizes organic ingredients, announced yesterday that it raised $4.5 million in new funding. PivotNorth Capital and Baseline Ventures led the round, and included participation from Vulcan Capital, Roth Capital, The Florence Group, Rembrandt Ventures,Correlation Ventures, Relevance Capital and Lucas Venture Group.
