Hopefully everyone who came out for TECH cocktail Chicago 10 last Thursday night had as great a time as the TECH cocktail crew did. We knew it would be a popular event, being in it’s flagship city, but this was the biggest TECH cocktail event so far, packing the house at John Barleycorn’s in Wrigleyville.
TECH cocktail is an excellent way to learn about new startups and meet lots of interesting people from all aspects of our industry. We always walk away knowing we’ve met great people and look forward to staying connected with them online via Twitter (@techcocktail), LinkedIn Group, Facebook and of course the TECH cocktail online community where TECH cocktailers can share stories, photos, videos and create groups, etc. We also tried a new “Town Hall Meeting” concept, inviting our community to share their thoughts about TECH cocktail events and how it could better fulfill it’s mission. More on the Town Hall meeting coming soon as we got lots of candid opinions and feedback that will only help us to make this venture stronger. Thanks to everyone who participated and volunteered to work with us moving forward!
If you weren’t in Chicago last week, there’s another TECH cocktail on February 26th in Washington DC. It’ll be at the Left Bank in Adams Morgan. Sign up, come for a drink, check out some startups and say hello.
Enjoy some of the photos Jen took throughout the evening – there are even more pictures here. And if you view them on flickr, please help tag images if you know who’s in them. Thanks everyone and see you soon at another TECH cocktail event near you!
