So new they don’t yet have a website, Baltimore-based startup Techies 4 Good will be in the house at Tech Cocktail’s Baltimore mixer on March 3rd talking up their mission. Their mission is to connect nonprofit organizations that need technology but know nothing about it with technology resources and volunteers.

From Techies 4 Good:

To achieve their social goals, nonprofit organizations need to use technology effectively. Often, however, they don’t have the knowledge, staff, or other resources to do so effectively. Techies 4 Good works with nonprofit organizations and connects them with technology volunteers or reduced consultants and resources to help them fulfill their missions.

Techies 4 Good was founded by Kate Bladow, a nonprofit techie and blogger, Heather Sarkissian, business strategist and social entrepreneur, and Brian Sierakowski, Managing Editor of the Baltimore Startup Digest and with the Greater Baltimore Tech Council.  They are not funded but are currently seeking funding.
