News from Jason Jacobsohn, friend of TECH cocktail and President of the Big Idea Forum:

Entrepreneurs!  Ever feel like no-one will listen to your idea?  Are you looking for ways to get your message out?  Are you looking to network with people who can help you get your next big idea off the ground?

Then you may be interested in The Big Idea Forum  – a peer networking group for entrepreneurs –  and an upcoming meeting we’re having on Monday February 16th.

We’re opening up our standard meeting format and inviting experienced entrepreneurs, or first timers, to come and present their latest “Big Idea”.

The idea is to give the entrepreneur 10 minutes to discuss their concept, idea or business along with anything they need assistance on- beta customers, help with sales, team building, etc..  You can discuss anything about the venture that you feel is relevant.  The stage is yours!

In the audience will be your peers – fellow entrepreneurs who can provide substantive feedback and insight.

No powerpoints, no business plans – just you in front of the room for 10 minutes.  We plan on having fellow entrepreneurs in the audience both for live feedback and networking.

We’re doing this to help entrepreneurs by giving them a chance to share their ideas, get feedback and build networking connections so necessary in venture formation.

Check out our website for more information:

Interested participants who want to present need to let us know by Friday February 6th.  Just write a note to to get further information.

Also, if you’re an entrepreneur who wants to be in attendance to provide feedback please let us know – same email:

By the way, this is not a contest – there will be no prize money.  Just a loosely formatted, collaborative and fun evening

Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you on the 16th.

President – Big Idea Forum
