If it’s the weekend, it’s surprise time! My kids can’t wait for the weekend, because we always have some surprises for them – a new game, or a new way to spend some time together and have fun. There are various ways to do that in the comfort of your home, such as playing challenging games on an iPhone, playing music, and more. So, without further ado here is my recipe for this weekend.

Cube Collider

It’s minimal, simple, and hard to master: Don’t be fooled by the simplistic look of Cube Collider. The game will absolutely put your reflexes and ability to multitask to the ultimate test. The rules are very simple: Different colored cubes fall from above, and you need to tap either right or left of the screen to rotate those squares. The goal is to make the same colors collide. Cube Collider is a free download from the App Store.

Guitar Hero Live

Before you start downloading the app, check that you have enough space on your iPhone – Guitar Hero Live is a gigantic 2.02 GB package. Once it’s on your iDevice, unleash your inner rock star! You can connect a Bluetooth guitar to the device if you have one, or play it on your iPad or iPhone. It’s really challenging and fun! Guitar Hero Live is free on the App Store, but you’ll need to spend some cash to unlock the full version.

Boomerang from Instagram

It’s fun to use and the results are hilarious: This is Boomerang from Instagram. As soon as you find something or someone moving, just tap the shutter button and the app does the rest: It transforms those burst photos into a mini video. Boomerang from Instagram is available for free from the App Store.

Alphabet Animal Puzzle

Created for kids who are interested in the world of letters, Alphabet Animal Puzzle is an app that makes learning the alphabet fun. It contains 26 alphabet animal puzzles for children aged 1 to 5, and since it is a paid app, it doesn’t contain ads. Alphabet Animal Puzzle costs $1.99 from the App Store.

Halloween Dress Up Costume Party for Kids – Free Edition

Halloween is almost here, so it’s time to find the right costume for you and your kid! But before you dress up, your kid can have fun by dressing up in lots of fun costumes such as vampires, witches, robots, Frankensteins, and more in this neat app. Halloween Dress Up Costume Party for Kids is available as a free download from the App Store.
