Tax time is creeping up on us so it is time to start thinking about how you are going to file this year. If you are like me, constantly on the go, it is tough to find time to actually sit down and do your returns. This year, you may be able to file your tax return while on the go, with ease, thanks to the TurboTax SnapTax iPhone application by Intuit.

With the innovative SnapTax iPhone application you can prepare and file your federal and state tax returns by simply snapping a photo of your 2009 W-2 and answering a few basic questions. Then you just have to review your tax information and click “send” to submit and e-file, all within a matter of minutes. It is really that simple. Currently, the filing is available for California residents, but I assume that will change in time for next tax season.
