Tweetsgiving is coming soon and you can be a part of it. Tweetsgiving for Epic Change is a global celebration that seeks to help build classrooms for students in Tanzania. Last year, Tweetsgiving raised $10,000 in about four days by leveraging the power of social networks and people’s gratitude. This year, there will be local events across the World that you can be a part of.

For example, Washington, D.C. the local Tweetsgiving is being hosted by, Social Media Club DC (SMC-DC), Young Association Professionals (YAP) and NextGenWeb at a happy hour to celebrate the D.C. metro technology and social media community and to support Tweetsgiving. Similar events are being hosted in other communities as well and here are a few of the big ones:

Washington, D.C.
New York
Los Angeles
San Francisco

If you are interested in participating and you do not see your city listed (above) be sure to check out the full local Tweetsgiving event list and feel free to reach out to host your own Tweetsgiving house party event. Tweetsgiving and all of it’s events are still looking for sponsors so be sure to check out the sponsorship options.
