FedScoop, the local DC government media and marketing company headed up by Goldy Kamali, announced there next event coming up on March 9th, called FedScoop’s Roadmap to the Cloud.  This event looks like another great one to attend.  I was fortunate enough to be able to make their last event, Cloud Computing Shootout, that had a lot of great talk from industry leaders on the “cloud” and where it was heading, especially with regards to security.

The Roadmap to the Cloud event is being presented by Microsoft and:

Will be a Summit for Government and Industry leaders to learn more about the choices Microsoft can offer to support their unique cloud needs and demands. Join us to hear examples of cloud solutions already in action and about Federal agency success stories.

This is on the heels of the launch of Minds in the Cloud, a FedScoop production along with iStrategyLabs with Intel and Microsoft as sponsors.  It is a site aggregating some great video on the cloud and where government and industry leaders have in mind for its future.

The event is taking place at the Ronald Reagan Building in downtown DC, very convenient to all forms of transportation.  Goldy and her team really put on first rate events so you should make sure to get over and register quickly to reserve your space for what is sure to be another good one.
