Movies, commercials, and television shows all require elaborate scheduling and collaboration. The organization that goes into a production – whether it’s big, small, reality-based or scripted – is remarkable. Coordinating talent, production crews, and logistics is challenging, to say the least.
NYC-based startup Scenios recently launched a cloud-based platform to make it easier to coordinate all aspects of production. A free entry-level plan allows you to manage one production, invite an unlimited number of users, and access 5 GB of space for a try-before-you-buy experience.
Founded by digital media entrepreneur Mark Davis and 5-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Wurtz (producer/director/editor of “Inside The Actors Studio”), features include everything from script-editing in real-time to video conferences to call sheet distribution – all available with one log-in – and iPad, iPhone and Android apps for easy access while out on location.
