Ordering food from restaurants through smartphones, tablets, or computers is a convenient option that’s gaining traction in the marketplace. However, the costs to implement mobile commerce technology acts as a barrier to entry for smaller restaurants. WebWaitr was created to equalize the playing field by providing a low-cost, user-friendly solution for online ordering.

Customers can place orders in advance through mobile phones, tablets, and computers, and WebWaitr fully integrates with its client’s websites to keep the focus on the restaurant brand. After an order is placed, the restaurant can be notified through email, fax, text, or automated phone call. Customers also have the option to be notified of orders through text or email, where an invoice and confirmation of the order can be accessed.

One of the greatest strengths of WebWaitr is its intuitive user interface, which received positive feedback at this month’s Tech Cocktail Boise event. The interface easily categorizes products and gives customers the ability to choose a pickup or delivery time. Through providing a simple shopping experience, WebWaitr improves the conversion rate of online ordering. Customers hungry to learn more can test WebWaitr’s interface or request a live demo at the company’s website.

WebWaitr also offers several unique features that allow restaurants the ability to personalize the platform for their needs. WebWaitr allows restaurants to use its interface to easily make changes to their menu and to choose between a variety of online payment processors to accept payments from customers. Since WebWaitr integrates with its client’s websites, customers are not required to download a mobile application, making it easier to quickly place orders.

After launching their beta program last month, WebWaitr has received positive feedback from restaurants and customers ordering food through the service. As the company grows, they plan to add new features for online menu customization and payment services. Through providing an easy and affordable solution for online ordering, WebWaitr hopes to help local restaurants compete with larger national chains.
