While on the road to finding the global Startup Of The Year, we’re on a mission to feature and highlight as many rising stars as possible. From tech and hardware, to entrepreneurs improving the accessibility of health information, each month dozens of new startups try to breakout and create an impact in their industry.
Meet Wyzerr from Covington, Kentucky
Wyzerr is a customer feedback solution, enabling brands (like Walmart and others) to better communicate with customers through engaging surveys that look and feel like mobile games. Wyzerr’s proprietary technology adapts questions to each individual’s’ responses, empowering brands with richer feedback that can be acquired in less than 60 seconds per survey at the point of sale and on the go, which achieves an 88 percent completion rate compared to the industry standard of 0.04 percent. Wyzerr has an all-minority founding team and recently announced $1.5 million in seed funding, marking the next investment raised by a minority female over $1 million, which as of February 2016 only included 11 investments.
If asked about your core values, what would you say when asked why do you do what you do (as an organization)?
Wyzerr is committed to ushering in a world where providing feedback is fun, fast and easy – and the resulting data is actionable and intuitive.
What has been one of your largest challenges as an organization, and how did you overcome it?
Being able to scale in size to customer demand is a challenge, but a good one and something we have overcome. Kentucky embraced Wyzerr with open arms since day one. We have a lot of local support, as well as new hires who are passionate about Wyzerr and our future. With a strong community and strong talent pipeline, we’re able to effectively scale and grow at the right pace for our business.
In one word, how would you describe yourself as a leader?
“Ambitious” – Natasia Malaihollo – Wyzerr CEO
