Yappem Comes to SXSW to Help Consumers Earn Rewards

Last Thursday was the launch of Yappem, a social network where customers can earn rewards for talking about brands.

As we explained, it’s a place for people to share their lives as customers, comparing products, making suggestions, and asking for advice. Yappem keeps those experiences separate from the rest of your online life, with the option to share on Facebook and Twitter (and earn more rewards in the process).

Yappem cofounders Justin Webb and Dave Sachse joined us at the SXSW Startup Celebration sponsored by CEA and .CO. They explained how Yappem works and told us a bit about the entrepreneurs they look up to and their “superhero entrepreneurial strengths.” Here’s the video.
