One thing that most Mac enthusiasts can agree on is that they all love the multitude of features, updates, and the UX of Yosemite. The update to Apple’s OS X system basically brings the Mac in line with all of the features offered with the iOS 8 system, and provides near seamless continuity as you move from your mobile Apple device to a desktop or laptop.
In fact, the name of the feature is Continuity, and it allows for the task you started on one device to be immediately picked up with the other device. This means you can do things like continue typing an email that was started on your phone, got a little more detailed, and can immediately be handed off to the larger keyboard on your Mac.
You can take or make a phone call right from your Mac, even though your phone might be charging in another room or otherwise out of reach. You can hand off a file from one device to another instantly.
Maybe, if the situation were to present itself, you could even call a famous comedian and make dad jokes on stage in front of a world audience. Maybe.
