It’s easy to get set up – when your hardware arrives, your software will be pre-installed, so all you’ll have to do to start accepting payments is update your settings online, on the SumUp app or via your register, and you can get going.
It’s understandable, then, that many of our users rated it the easiest POS system they’ve used. Its front-end was described as “clear” and “responsive”, with the “park order” function receiving particular praise for allowing users to quickly adjust items mid-transaction.
However, the back-end caused some friction during our tests. Some users decribed it as “clunky” and “slow to load”, and small UI details like pop-ups or graphics meant that the intuitiveness of the system was hurt.
