Fusion Guitar: iPhone, Amp and Speakers in One

Being a guitarist requires a lot of gear, which tends to be big in size and, therefore, very hard to carry. Other than the guitar itself, there is the amp and the speakers (or a combo having both things together), which can be quite voluminous and heavy, as well as pedals and pedal boards, which can also take up some space.

So, the dream of every guitarist is to have smaller gear, without having to compromise the quality and power of their sound. Recently launched on Indiegogo is a product that will give them just that and, while it might not be enough to play in Coachella's main stage, it is an excellent piece of hardware for practice and, who knows, performing on small gigs: meet Fusion Guitar, the world's smartest guitar.

Fusion Guitar is the world's first smart electric guitar with built-in speakers, amp, recording capabilities, and iPhone integration. The built-in iPhone dock allows for a whole new set of possibilities, like on-board guitar effects, amplifier modeling, 8-track recording, access to sheet music as well as some of the best guitar tutors around.

In terms of the guitar's construction, the Fusion Guitar has a full-scale neck, with a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard and humbucker pickups. The true novelties here are the built-in 20W amp and the speakers that it feeds, two 30W Pearless full range speakers. The guitar is powered by a 11.1V high capacity 3200mAh battery, that takes a little over an hour to fully recharge.

The team behind Fusion Guitar is looking for funding on Indiegogo, having raised 76% of their $35,000 goal, with 28 days left in the campaign. The first 50 orders will get a huge discount on this product – $400 of the estimated retail price. That is a sweet sale, so be sure to give Fusion Guitar a good look and reserve it now for an astounding price, while it is available.
