Learning how to code is more accessible and affordable than ever, but not everyone has time to take off work or leave their job to pursue their interest or passion. While there are very affordable classes you can take from the comfort of your own home, I’ve found classes and resources that will help you learn to code for free:
Codecademy
Codecademy is an online collaborative platform that offers free coding classes it’s One of my favorite places to learn coding. In fact, not only me but more than 20 million people have already learned how to code here. At Codecademy, you can make a dive and take courses that show you everything from HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP etc.
Udemy
Established in 2010, Udemy is a web based learning platform for users that can be utilized to enhance or learn different codding language. However, this platform does not provide free programming for all course but still a good place to learn HTML & CSS and I apricate their fantastic video lessons.
edX
EdX is another famous online codding learning platform. It was founded by Harvard University and MIT in 2012, so you will get opportunity to learn about latest technologies and theories in programming. You probably getting an opportunity to get free Introduction to Computer Science from Harvard University.
Web Fundamentals
Google project was launched in 2010 to counter Apple’s HTML5. This website is full of tutorials, resources and the latest updates on HTML5. It’s an open source, so programmer can learn around with HTML5 code.
