On Thursday, November 8th, there were two Tech Cocktail events taking place in very different parts of the US. While one was taking place in the nation’s capital and the other one was far west, in Boise, Idaho, the two events had much in common – a crowd of startups and tech enthusiasts excited to spend an evening together checking out the latest creations by local entrepreneurs and meeting like-minded people.
Lead by our local Tech Cocktail Boise Ambassador, Martin Hamblek, with the support of the Idaho Technology Council and Kickstand, and sponsored by Adecco Engineering & Technical, Perkins Coie, Prodromos Marketing, Hawley Troxell, and Balihoo, the third Tech Cocktail Boise Startup Showcase and Mixer was a hit.

Lifes Scribe is an app merging modern and traditional journaling.
AngelAire is a fully automated cremation urn that scatters loved one’s ashes.
The finals for Kickstand’s Startup Speed Dating competition took place early in the evening, where the top three startups pitched their businesses to the audience. Winner SlideKlowd took home the $1000 grand prize.
