The votes are in! We've officially announced this year's Startup of the Year. We had $250,000 in prizes to give away this year, so while we had one grand prize winner, each startup will still get to go home with something pretty amazing. So, without further pause….

First Place

Blendoor, who received $120,000 of SoftLayer credits and chose to partner with 500 Startups, was our grand prize winner. Oh, and they won the coveted Tech Cocktail chalice!

Second Place

TurboAppeal, who will be teaming up with Techstars.

Third Place

LiveAnswer, who thought that their best course was to join with Crowdfunder.

Fourth Place

HedgeChatter, who decided it would be best to work with DreamIt.

Fifth Place

Sunport, who will excitedly be working with Tech Wildcatters.

Outside of the pitch competition, our partners CEA and DreamIt both searched far and wide for the top consumer electronics and healthcare startups, respectively.

CEA chose Sunport as their winner

DreamIt chose Zakipoint Health as their winner

On October 4-6, Tech Cocktail Celebrate Conference is gathering hundreds of attendees, industry leaders, and inspiring speakers in downtown Vegas to meet the hottest startups and investors from around the country, learn and collaborate with others turning their communities into startup cities, and enjoy music, parties, and llama spotting. Check out more Tech Cocktail Celebrate Conference coverage here.
