Here’s the Trailer for the New HBO Series ‘Silicon Valley’

In case you missed your fill of Sunday night HBO programming, last night the network released a full trailer for the upcoming series by Mike Judge Silicon Valley. The 90-second trailer is promising, and will surely provide a comedic take on the startup life.

Silicon Valley features a group of socially-awkward software engineers who are trying to make it big in the Valley. The show centers on introverted computer programmer Richard (Thomas Middleditch) who works for a tech company called Hooli, and lives in the Hacker Hostel startup incubator with his best friend Big Head (Josh Brener). The story plot will be driven by a bidding war between billionaires that ensues after they realize the value of Richard's work.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series is partially inspired by creator Mike Judge's own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the 80s. Judge is most known for creating Beavis and ButtheadKing of the HillIdiocracy, and Office Space. Considering this history of comedic hits, we can expect Silicon Valley to be ahhmazzzzing(ly funny).

Silicon Valley premieres at 10pm, April 6, on HBO.
