Southeastern Virginia’s Startups of the Year: NASONI and Feedback Enterprise

On August 27th, we made Tech.Co history. We hosted our first ever Tech Cocktail event in Southeastern Virginia. At the end of the night we had the honor of inviting two incredible Virginia startups to Las Vegas for Celebrate 2015.

Our venue host for the night was the Virginia Air & Space Center on the waterfront in Hampton, VA. The event was part of ICE 757 Innovation Week which is the premiere east coast festival featuring top experts in entrepreneurship, film, music, and extreme sports. About 100 people showed up to check out demos from the following startups:

Aesop Technologies LLC
FeedbacK Enterprise, LLC
FitBox365
Hortus America
NASONI
Netarus, LLC
Redono, LLC

NASONI – Nasoni is a unique patented faucet design that makes faucets dual purpose. Founder Steve Waddell was frustrated with typical faucets that are not convenient for drinking or rinsing out your mouth after brushing your teeth. After being inspired by old Roman street fountains that functioned both as traditional faucets and drinking fountains, he came up with his design for a similar type of faucet that can be attached to modern sinks. In June, Nasoni won the Get Started Hampton Roads startup competition, presented by Cox Business and Inc. Magazine

We can’t wait for these two startups to come to Las Vegas during Celebrate 2015 and compete for the title of Tech.Co Startup of the Year!

We only have a couple stops left on our tour, so if you happen to be in DC (September 9th) or Albuquerque (September 15th) we’d love to see you!
