Are you a mom in need of a vacation? You might want to check out Poshbrood, a Washington, DC based startup that launched today to offer mothers a place to find luxury travel deals. Think of it like Jetsetter but focused on moms. Poshbrood has researched, identified, visited, and screened chic and luxurious travel options for busy families.

The site is the brainchild of Elizabeth Thorp, a mother of three and long-time travel journalist. The idea came to her while she was researching a story for a article about luxury travel options for families. She realized there was a plethora of resources recommending upscale travel options for parents and decided to use the research to start the Poshbrood. The site was developed by the talented Zvi Band.

It's also worth noting that to celebrate the launch of Poshbrood, visitors who register for the newsletter before October 29th will be eligible to win one of four stays at featured properties which include: a luxury four bedroom villa, Noble House on the Beach, in Montego Bay from Jamaica by Villas by Linda Smith, a deluxe suite at the slick Trump Soho, and suites at Kimpton Hotel's Hotel Palomar DC and Hotel Marlowe in Boston.
