A little competition is good for everyone. It gets the blood pumping, your heart racing, and brings out the best in serious competitors. When it comes to startups, the entire market is filled with intense competition for the top spot in their respective industries. With the Rise of the Rest tour, Steve Case and Revolution are hoping to inspire startups in the west to do what it takes to win.
On October 4th, the competition will be headed to Denver in hopes of finding the best startup in the Mile-High City. Not only will startups have the chance to go home with $100,000 in funding, they'll also be able to enjoy the beautiful mountains, the welcoming culture, and the most exciting lower downtown (LoDo) area in the country.
The Rise of the Rest startup bus tour is aimed at highlighting cities leading the charge in a new era of technological revitalization. Since its inception in 2014, Steve Case has invested more than $2 million in 20 startups across 20 cities in the United States. This year, he is giving away $100,000 in funding to one startup from each city.
