Los Angeles is the second largest city in the United States. Known for it’s entertainment scene which blossomed in the early nineteen hundreds, LA also has some of the best schools in the country in UCLA and USC. They also have a growing tech culture in Los Angeles and it’s adjacent cites like Santa Monica, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills as companies like Demand Media, MySpace and more recently Hulu, Mahalo, Callfire, DocStoc and BetterWorks have staked claim to the area. So we are excited to finally be headed to Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 24th to host our first Tech Cocktail LA mixer event. We’ll be showcasing early stage technology companies at the event by offering a select group of companies complimentary exhibit space. The event will offer a cocktail event atmosphere for tech enthusiasts and a literal “cocktail of tech folks” to connect with the local tech companies, entrepreneurs and more established LA companies.
