Techstars Energy Accelerator Partners With Norwegian-Based Statoil

Finding new ways to develop clean energy is at the heart of Techstars Energy Accelerator.

We are proud to announce Techstars Energy Accelerator in Partnership with Statoil, a Norwegian-based company. Norway is internationally recognized for Energy so it only makes sense that this is the focus of our first Norwegian accelerator. I am excited to be the managing director for this program.

The Techstars Energy Accelerator in Partnership with Statoil will take place in Oslo, Norway. Applications open in February 2018 and the program kicks off September 2018. Stay tuned to learn more about where you can meet me as I tour the world looking for the best startups to join this new accelerator.

Energy is a broad and complex industry. Techstars Energy Accelerator in Partnership with Statoil is focused on progressing and integrating new businesses. Companies in the program will focus on developing potentially transformative technologies and business models across the energy sector to improve safety, security, capital efficiency, operational performance and sustainability.

Statoil is an energy company committed to long term value creation in a low carbon future. With operations in 30 countries around the world, Statoil’s vision is to shape the future of energy.

Although this is our first accelerator in the Nordics, Techstars Startup Weekend has been active in the region since 2010 and more than 43 different Techstars Startup Weekend events throughout the Nordic countries.
