I always knew the nightclub service industry was big, but I didn’t know it’s a multi-billion dollar economy within the US, per year. Las Vegas itself is one of the biggest centerpieces of the industry and they haul in $1.5 billion each year alone; some clubs hit around $75 million individually.
There are people out there who want to capitalize on this industry, among them NBA superstar Ty Lawson. Alongside Motti Shulman, James Spivey, George DeLisle, and Michelle Grinnell they officially launched their app, Bottles Waiting, last October.
Today the team announced that they’ll officially be expanding the reach of their service outside of Denver, which has been monumental for them, into two new cities: Scottsdale, AZ and San Diego, CA.
“Our expansion into two new states reflects how Bottles Waiting is the only app you need to find the perfect venue anywhere in the country,” says Grinnell, President. “It makes it easy for anyone to plan their night and be sure that they know what they are getting. It can even inform them on the type of music, the dress code, and the tables that are already booked on the night.”
The whole idea behind Bottles Waiting is to reshape how club goers enjoy their days and nights, and how club owners and managers run their venues across the country. According to Grinnell, the mobile app and organizational dashboard allow for seamless management of every facet of the venue.
In effect, the platform has been built as an all-encompassing managing solution that gives managers access to real-time sales data, customer numbers, reservations, and event attendance.
On the user side of things, they can use the Bottles Waiting app to search for clubs in their area and view the events being held at different venues. The booking feature built into the app allows club goers to see the layout of the venue, available tables, and pre-purchase bottle service; it’s truly the one stop shop for clubbers.
“We always look to make the client experience as positive as possible, and the logistics features within the Bottles Waiting system helps facilitate that for club owners,” says Tom Bird, CEO of Bottles Waiting. “The core idea behind the app is to make every customer feel like a VIP, taking away waiting times both within and outside of the club.”
