Finding that one photo that helps portray the sentiments in your startup’s most recent post can be a challenge and creating your own can be time consuming. Stock photography can be a great option for a minimal cost and help create a positive and professional first impression for your make your blog.
We asked founders which sites they’d recommend for quality, inexpensive stock photography to use for their company. Check out what they said below:
Envato Marketplace
I’ve found the best cost/benefit on stock images/video/audio is the Envato Marketplace. While there are some cheaper and definitely many that are more expensive, Envato simply has the best overall value.

WE Stock United
Each of us has diverse customers and serve diverse communities. The people who buy from us want to see cultural diversity reflected in the photos we use to market to them. WE Stock United provides affordable, royalty-free stock photography that celebrates and honors all ages, shapes, abilities, and colors. That’s why it’s my choice.

Pixabay or Getty
Though I would recommend signing up for an account with a site like Getty if you can afford it, Pixabay is an excellent (and free) alternative. And with a library of almost 800,000 images, you’re likely to find at least a few that suit your purposes. You might also consider searching Flickr. Though it’s not a stock photo site, it still offers many still high-quality, royalty-free images.

iStock
We use iStock for all of our images. There are different levels and subscription or one-off pricing, but you can almost always find something that is really good for not much money. And it’s part of Getty so it has a huge catalog compared to some of the other sites we have tried.
