You might not be able to find savings on individual doorbells. Instead, you’ll probably see lots of bundles. For example, you can get the Ring Video Doorbell Wired and third-gen Amazon Echo Dot for $45 — a $55 saving.

Ring doorbells are also sprinkled with a little bit of Alexa magic — meaning that you can rig it to sound your Amazon Echo devices when someone rings, and even communicate with them through the device.
You can also rest easy when you’re away from home with a Ring doorbell’s motion-activated alerts, while the 1080p HD camera means that you can see exactly who is outside.
Ring Doorbell
The Ring Doorbell’s newest iteration brings improved motion detection, privacy zones, audio privacy, and crisper night vision, compared to the previous version — so you can see and hear exactly who is delivering your parcels at 2 AM.
Of course, that’s if you’ve got the batteries charged. This cheapest Ring Doorbell can’t be plugged into the mains to ensure a constant power supply. Instead, you’ll get some rechargeable batteries which can be swapped out once they have run out of juice.
Ring Doorbell 3
The Ring Doorbell 3 was released back in 2020 and is quite a bit more expensive than the standard Ring Doorbell. In return for your extra outlay, however, you do get some neat features.
A removable battery pack will make swapping out dead batteries easier, while the included interchangeable faceplates and corner kit will help it fit in better with your home.
From a tech angle, the Ring Doorbell 3 also works with 5.0 GHz wifi connections, this means it should be faster if your doorbell is near to your wifi router.
Ring Doorbell 4
The Ring Doorbell 4 is only a mite more expensive than the Doorbell 3 but has two extra features. It gives you four second-long color pre-roll videos, allowing you to see all motion events in glorious technicolor at any time of day — even before people press the button.
It also allows for preset quick replies to help you answer the door when you’re busy.
Video Doorbell Wired
The Doorbell Wired is, in essence, the same as the standard Video Doorbell but it is wired directly into your home’s electricity rather than using battery packs.
It costs the same as the standard Video Doorbell and comes with all the same features.
Video Doorbell Pro
The Doorbell Pro, meanwhile, costs a fair bit more than the Video Doorbell Wired but has lots of extra features. It can work with your home’s chime box, offers quick replies, Alexa greetings, and includes interchangeable faceplates.
Video Doorbell Pro 2
Finally, there’s the Video Doorbell Pro 2. It has 3D motion detection and records videos at 1,536p (higher than the 1080p on all other Ring Doorbells).
It also offers wide-angle, head-to-toe video, a bird’s eye view mode, and Audio+ for greater clarity when talking to visitors.
If you’ve already got a video doorbell (or are content with your old-fasioned dumb doorbell), it might be worth taking a look at Ring’s range of smart security cameras to amp-up your home’s security even further.
While installing a security camera in your home might sound scary, there’s really nothing to be afraid of. Ring’s security cams work in the same way as the Ring doorbells, but can allow you to keep an eye on other areas of your home.
For example, you can cast a watchful eye over your back yard, garage, or even if you have a long driveway while also getting motion alerts, and being able to communicate with anyone through your phone, PC, or tablet.
The Ring Spotlight Cam will keep a watchful eye over your home, automatically activating the light if it detects movement, and allowing you to see who (or what) is scuttling around in the dark.
It comes in battery-powered and hardwired variants — and you can even get a solar-powered variant to keep your home security eco-friendly.
The Ring Spotlight Cam is probably the easiest way to amp up your home security even further, with it taking just 5-10 minutes to install. With $50 off, it’s a very decent deal this Prime Day.
With the outside of your home locked-down tighter than Fort Knox, you might be thinking that Ring doesn’t need to offer in-house security.
However, you’d be wrong. The Stick Up Cam is designed to make for an inconspicuous addition to your home’s camera network, standing at just 2.4-inches tall.
It’ll keep an eye on the comings and goings inside your home, and it can even be mounted outside for even greater protection. It can be had with an Echo Dot and a total $70 saving on Prime Day.
