Everyone knows Black Friday sees retailers slashing prices on everything from smartphones and laptops to slow cookers and lip gloss. While Black Friday 2019 officially begins on 29 November, Amazon has jumped the gun and launched its Black Friday discounts on its own-brand products a week early.
This year, you can head over to retail giant from 22 November, taking advantage of a week of Black Friday savings. You’ll find deals on almost everything, but often the best deals are reserved for Amazon’s own-brand tech products.

Whether you’re after a simple, small speaker, or an Echo with a built-in display, there’s something in the range for all pockets.
Echo Dot with Clock
- $59.99 — $15 off
- Amazon’s latest Echo Dot has all the features you’d expect, including built-in Alexa, but the built-in time display makes it an excellent alarm clock too.
Echo Dot (third gen)
- $34.99 — $15 off
- The smallest version of the Echo. It does everything the bigger Echos do, but struggles playing music.
- You can connect the Echo Dot to a better speaker with its line-out connection

- An Amazon Echo with an 8-inch display. The Show’s screen can help display information like the weather forecast, calendars, to-do lists, recipes, and even video feeds from smart door bells and security cameras.
- You can also use it to watch live TV, which might make it a good alternative to a traditional TV in a kitchen or bedroom.
Best Black Friday Amazon Fire Tablet Deals
Amazon’s Fire tablets might seem cheap compared to the latest iPads, but they’re excellent for anyone looking to watch TV or play games on the move. They also make great Christmas presents!
Starting from under $30, Black Friday is the best time to snap up a Kindle Fire tablet.
Fire 7 with Alexa
- $29.99 — $20 off
- At this price, the Fire 7 with Alexa is the ultimate bargain tablet — it won’t beat an iPad, but you cannot get better for less.
- It has a 1024×600 7″ LCD display and uses Amazon’s FireOS version of Android, so it should feel familiar to most people

Amazon Fire HD8 with Alexa
- $49.99 — $30 off
- Arguably Amazon’s best tablet, the HD8 gets improved specs all-round with only a modest price increase

- Alexa is available all the time
Amazon Fire HD 10 with Alexa

Best Black Friday Amazon Kindle Deals
Amazon’s popular ebook reader has seen some decent discounts this Black Friday, with the standard model reduced to just $59.99, and the Paperwhite down to $84.99.
Bad news for those that want the premium Kindle, it looks like Oasis aren’t cutting the price of the relatively new Oasis just yet. It retains that hefty $250 asking price, but we think that the Paperwhite is the smarter choice anway, offering many of the same features for a fraction of the cost.
Kindle Paperwhite
$84.99 – 35% saving
- Back lit screen
- Waterproof
- Bluetooth Audio
Best Black Friday Amazon Ring Doorbell Deals
Amazon’s Ring range is a video doorbell that is Alexa enabled, meaning that you rig it to sound your Echo devices when someone rings the bell, and even communicate with them through the device. The security conscious will like the motion activated alerts, and the 1080HD camera means that you can keep an eye on your property, even if you’re not at home.
This Black Friday, Amazon are offering the Ring range with some hefty discounts, making it the best time to secure your home for a bargain price.
