I was hitting send on an important email when much to my dismay I was served a page that Gmail has a temporary server error. YES, Google’s Gmail is down! :(
While some may see this as a sign of a coming apocalypse, I am going to error on the side of caution and share a few things you can do now to pass the time.
1.) Don’t Panic. Gmail is down and you now have time on your hands.
2.) Take a nap. Preferably in an office Hammock.
3.) Go Golf.
@FrankGruber that’s called a victory. Go golf

4.) Watch puppies online.

5.) Tweet about Gmail.
@FrankGruber @Gmail Tweet about gmail, of course! Or go back to work on what I was working on before. Probably that. — Jen Mitchell Doncev (@JenMitch) January 24, 2014
6.) Read Tweets about Gmail being down.
.@FrankGruber Pretty much reading tweets about @Gmail being down. #Gmail — Shervonne Cherry (@NoOrdnryCherry) January 24, 2014
7.) Talk about Justin Bieber’s crazy last 6 months. Someone needs to step in and save him from himself.
8.) Setup your own mail server. Or look to another mail provider. AOL appears to be up.
@FrankGruber @Gmail Set up my own mail server. #gmail

9.) Write a book or finish one that you have already started. ;)
@FrankGruber @gmail These are the moments books get finished, Frank. :)

10.) Oh… wait… it looks like Gmail is back up! That was fast. Back to work.
Seems like the only logical benefactor of this outage was Twitter. Could this have been the work of those crazy birds? Seems like a logical conspiracy theory to me. :)
