Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, announced today the launch of “Amadeus for Startups,” a new program designed to equip travel startups in the North American marketplace with industry leading technology, expertise, and consultative support to navigate the complexities of the travel industry and achieve success.

“Amadeus recognizes that the future of travel lies in the innovations and disruptive ideas being generated within the startup community. But travel startups often face distinctive challenges in establishing and growing their business and that’s where we can uniquely advise,” said Alix Argüelles, Vice President Online Travel Group, Amadeus North America. “Through Amadeus for Startups, we are aligning the technology, investment and academic communities to offer new travel companies a simplified, affordable consulting partnership that will help ensure they are equipped with the travel and technology solutions and guidance they need.”

With this program, Amadeus will bring its industry knowledge and expertise to advise emerging travel startups looking to streamline their processes and enhance and accelerate their ability to succeed. To help develop startups coming into the space, Amadeus is partnering with incubator Travel Startups Incubator. The Florida-based incubator is a travel technology incubator and platform, which funds seed-stage and early-stage travel startups and entrepreneurs and offers a private network to connect with advisors, mentors, partners and investors. It recently raised $500K in capital funding for operations.

Through this new alliance, Amadeus will provide the incubator with access to Amadeus’  team of  experts and best-in-class technology solutions, as well as opportunities to participate in industry training workshops, startup bootcamps and educational seminars co-hosted by the two organizations.

“We are excited to ignite our business by partnering with Amadeus, an industry veteran and clear leader in travel technology,” said Matt Zito, Co-Managing Partner, Travel Startups Incubator. “This alliance demonstrates Amadeus’ commitment to supporting the travel ecosystem and its willingness to help our business inspire, fund and connect travel startups throughout their journey.”

The incubator will have access to Amadeus’ advisors, mentors, consulting services and IT technology for its portfolio of startups.  In turn, Travel Startups Incubator will connect Amadeus to emerging startups seeking travel technology and/or distribution expertise and support.
