Chitter Wants to Give You Free Chit

Chitter is rewarding users for posting photos to social media, and businesses with quality user generated content to rival the best traditional marketing plan. As user generated content is most trusted by the consumer, Chitter hopes to “help businesses begin to master the Dynamic Customer Journey” and offer value to their customers. Chitter was founded by Seth Knapp and Alex Lawton.

Why it’s great for consumers:

Once a user has downloaded Chitter, getting rewards or “Chit” (they said it first) is simple. Chitter uses your location to offer nearby deals. You can also search by location or brand. Users unlock offers by performing brand activities and sharing photos of the experience to Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. For example, you might be asked to take a picture with your cocktail at the bar, a message and a photo will get you a free drink! You would most likely do this anyway, you Ham, so why not receive some free Chit for it? Current rewards range from a ‘Free cup of coffee’ to $7 premium Martinis.’

Why businesses love it too:

Chitter is working to further validate the ‘connected consumer.’  By providing a backend consulting solution, and behavioral analytics, brands can get a real and quantifiable view of why social really should be the go-to marketing option.  Reaching out to potential customers who are already close by, will prove an increase in repeat traffic and deliver brand ambassadors. Plus, since Chits are earned by posting to social media, gaining traffic to social profiles become seamless.
Chitter rises above the noise and provides relevant and targeted deals. It truly is a win for all participants with effective marketing and increased sales for businesses and easy to earn discounts and free goods for the consumer. Go get that Chit! Chitter is available on iOS and Android.
