Curbed Network, the NYC media company cofounded by Alexis Juneja and Lockhart Steele, today announced that it was acquired by Vox Media.

Curbed Network includes three sites: Curbed, showcasing real estate and design; Eater, with dining and nightlife; and Racked, with shopping and fashion. It was launched in 2004 as an “aggressive hobby.”

Vox Media is a DC-based publisher focused on lifestyle brands with passionate audiences. They already own The Verge, SB Nation, and Polygon.

According to the New York Times, the deal was a cash and stock transaction valued between $20 million and $30 million.
