ForwardMetrics to Provide Instant Salesforce Data Access

Today ForwardMetrics is rolling out a software update to their FM Navigator client that will provide their users with instant access to Salesforce data. This update follows in the wake of ForwardMetrics’ recent $1 million in private funding.

Leveraging quick access to your Salesforce data, FM Navigator will be able to track anything going on within your sales organization in real-time. New leads, close dates, highest performing sales reps, support tickets, total deals in the pipeline, and reports that come from your Salesforce account are all available.

“Sales is about setting goals and striving to hit your targets,” says Scott Warner, CSO and co-founder of ForwardMetrics. “What we really want to do is automate the collection of that data for those metrics.”

To that end, requests for specific sets of data can be scheduled to update and generate reports automatically. And since Salesforce data would be extended throughout the entire organization, there would be high levels of visibility and transparency.

Workers would be able to see the direct impact of their work and how it is helping attain sales goals. The company, then, would not have to pay for each individual worker to access Salesforce data and could cut that cost dramatically.

ForwardMetrics actively sought out this partnership because Salesforce offers an open platform that other vendors don’t. And instead of going directly to companies, ForwardMetrics has been talking with Salesforce integrators at those companies to help leverage new clients.
