Cultural relevance is hard to keep up with sometimes. Here at Tech.Co, one of my colleagues has yet to even read the Harry Potter series, while I myself have not educated myself on the goings-about in the Star Wars universe. It's fine: being incessantly fine-tuned to what the people are interested in is very hard. If you are, however, up-to-date with what the kids these days are talking about, then you should know that the trailer for the new Harry Potter movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is out!
Aimed as a prequel to the Harry Potter franchise, Fantastic Beasts features Academy Award winner, Eddie Redmayne, as Newt Scamander, the author of the popular wizarding world book Fantastic Beasts. In the trailer, we see Scamander in New York around the 1920s, and we get a peek inside the magical world in America.
The movie doesn't come out until around Christmastime of next year, but watching the trailer already has me pining for nostalgia (remember waiting in anticipation every Christmas season for the next Harry Potter movie?). The screenplay for Fantastic Beasts was written by J.K. Rowling, so it's gotta be good.
