Miami-based startup Posto7 has raised $925K via convertible notes from NXTP Labs and other investors in New York City, San Francisco, Brazil and Miami. This announcement comes as Posto7 finishes NXTP Labs' accelerator program in Buenos Aires.

Posto7 app is currently in beta, and it helps you share with friends your favorite restaurants, hotels, and nightlife venues. The idea is that every recommendation on posto7 is relevant and reliable because it’s shared with friends only, unlike existing recommendation apps like Yelp and Foursquare.

“The funding will be used to build the team, with George [Yates] and I as partners and head of Business Development. We are looking to increase the team to 3 mobile developers and one UI designer,” says co-founder Patrick Curley.

Posto7 is also focusing on building  partnerships with key hospitality and travel brands. They've already signed partnerships with Uber, and Oasis Collections.
