These Are The Tech Jobs with the Biggest Gender Pay Gaps

When it comes to employment, even the shifting workforce isn’t immune to the limitations of the gender wage gap. After all, equal pay is still a persistent problem that tech is still far from completely absolving.

Glassdoor reports that: “the unadjusted pay gap between men and women is 24.1 percent, meaning women earn, on average, 76 cents ($0.76) for every $1.00 men earn. However, when controls are factored in (controls such as age, experience, level of education, occupation, industry, location, year, company and job title), the adjusted pay gap between men and women is 5.4 percent, meaning women earn, on average, $0.95 for every $1.00 men earn.”

With the pay gap being slightly larger than average for the tech industry (reported to be at, 5.9 percent), much work remains to be done when it comes to fixing the gender pay gap. A crucial step is taking a look at exactly where we have to improve. Here are the top ten tech jobs that have the biggest pay gaps by gender, via Glassdoor.
