These Are the Top 15 Big Data Companies to Work For

Big Data and business analytics companies are on the rise, especially with grads and new job seekers begin to flood the market. But when it comes to finding the best companies to work for, the information could get a bit lost in translation.

A new report by Computer Reseller News Big Data 100 shows the top companies in business analytics, platform and tools, as well asdata management technologies. Using information gathered from Glassdoor, the information utilized the percentage of employees that would recommend these companies to their friends, along with the approval rating of the CEO.

Here are the best Big Data and business analysis companies that you consider. Check out the links to their respective career pages to see who’s hiring!

  • Beginning the list is Paxata. The information gives this company a 100 percent recommendation rating from employees, as well as a 100 percent approval rating of the CEO. Listed under the data managing vendors. Credit to Paxata
  • Also at the top of the list was Qubole, a cloud-based big data company. Qubole also received a 100 percent approval rating of the company CEO and recommendation from current employers, based on the data information. Interested job seekers can check out the site here. Credit to Qubole
  • Gainsight Gainsight, a big data analyzation company, focuses on helping businesses grow by “driving customer advocacy”, they also have a 97 percent approval rating from employees, and a 100 percent approval of the current CEO. Credit to Gainsight.

  • Next on the list is Trifacta, a data management company. They have a 95 percent approval rating from current employees, and a 100 percent approval of the current CEO.

  • SiSense, a big data company that simplifies business streamlining for clients, has a 92 percent approval rating from current employees and a 100 percent approval rating of the current CEO. Credit to SiSense.
  • ThoughtSpot, a big data company, garnered a 92 percent approval rating from current employees in the report. They also have a 91 overall approval of the current CEO, which is still quite impressive Credit to ThoughtSpot.
  • The next entry on the list is no other than Google. Though most people are familiar with the tech giant, their business practices are also highly coveted for job seekers.   • Looker is next on the list – a big data company that has an overall 91 percent approval rating from current employees, and a full 100 percent approval of the current CEO. Credit to Looker.
  • Alteryx, a big data computer software company. They have a 87 percent approval rating from current employers and a 92 percent approval of the current CEO. Credit to Alteryx.
  • Cloudera, a “modern data management platform”, has a 86 overall approval from current employees and a 93 approval rating of the current CEO. Credit to Cloudera.
  • Salesforce is a CRM platform site that assists with helping clients access the Internet, utilizing big data. They have a 86 overall approval from current employees and a 93 percent approval of the current CEO. Credit to Salesforce.
  • Next on the list is GoodData, an “analytics distribution platform” for businesses. They have a 85 percent approval rating from current employees, as well as an 85 percent approval of the current CEO. Credit to GoodData.
  • And finally, we have Domo rounding out the top 15 companies on the list. Domo is a computer software company that focuses on big data analyzation for businesses. Overall, they have an 84 percent approval rating from current employees and an 87 percent approval of the current CEO.
