INTRODUCING OUR SPECIAL GUEST…
Co-Founder and Co-CEO of sweetgreen
Jonathan Neman is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of sweetgreen, the much-loved, organic, farm-to-table salad shops. After graduating from Georgetown University, Jonathan and his partners Nicolas Jammet and Nathaniel Ru, opened the first sweetgreen in a 560-square-foot space in Georgetown in August 2007. Over the next six years, the threesome went on to open 22 additional locations throughout Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, Philadelphia, Boston and New York City. sweetgreen quickly grew a cult-like following for its delicious and healthy food and commitment to local farmers, the community, sustainability, and company culture. In addition to salads, sweetgreen’s menu includes grain bowls, wraps, seasonal soups and sides, and fresh pressed raw juice. The company also founded sweetlife, an annual food and music festival attracting a curated selection of cutting edge artists, 20,000 attendees, and food from top chefs, local purveyors, and farmers.
