Happy Internet Freedom Day!
Jan 18, 2013 Tweet
Today is the first Internet Freedom Day. On January 18, 2012, over 100,000 websites went black to protest the SOPA and PIPA legislation and uphold a free, uncensored Internet. Along with calls to representatives, these actions helped stall the bills in Congress. Fight for the Future is encouraging Twitter users to “celebrate #InternetFreedomDay by posting something you love about the net.”
