StockUp, the Washington, D.C.-based company whose mobile app gives consumers a tool to easily create a grocery shopping list and help them find the best prices at nearby stores, announced today the launch of their new website, StockUpSales.com. This new website gives American consumers a central resource for finding some of the best unadvertised sales on groceries, household products, and everyday goods at nearby major retailers.
“We’ve been working with thousands of US shoppers for nearly two years to build our database of ever-changing grocery prices,” said StockUp founder and CEO Neil Kataria in a blog post published earlier today. “The data we’ve collected for stockupsales.com and our new mobile app proves that retailers work hard to maintain ‘price confusion’, tricking people into believing they are getting a great deal, when in reality, there’s better prices around the corner. You’ll be surprised how different the prices are for the things we buy everyday.”
Through the new StockUpSales website, people can now access more than 100 million unadvertised sales prices at major retailers across the country. By simply entering your zip code, the new site will give you a listing of all products at nearby retailers that are currently selling at lower prices than normally. The sales prices are collected and updated daily, giving consumers a reliable resource for their everyday goods.
The new website currently does not include StockUp’s various mobile features, such as list creation and price comparison, but the company states that those will be implemented in the nearby future. The company also says that current StockUp mobile users can look forward to a new mobile experience next month when they launch their new app.
