Best Samsung TV Black Friday Deals

Samsung is consistently one of the best TV brands you can choose. The Korean manufacturer makes outstanding TV sets, and is hugely competitive on price. You’ll find some amazing discounts on Samsung TVs this Black Friday shopping season.

The main thing with Samsung is to focus on whether you want to buy a 2018 TV at a discount, or a 2017 TV at a huge discount. Go for this year’s models and you’ll spend a bit more, but you’ll get the latest tech, such as 4K screens. Pick from last year’s models, and you can make a big saving – if you’re prepared to forego 4K and get a respectable Full HD TV instead, for example. Both should still be Smart TVs that are able to connect to streaming services.

How can you tell them apart? Easy. The 2018 range has an ‘N’ or ‘NU’ in the product name (hey, ‘NU’ even sounds like ‘new’). The 2017 range has an ‘M’.

We wouldn’t recommend going further back than last year’s Samsung models. And, if you really want to spend big, you can choose from one of Samsung’s QLED (Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode) range. These are ultra-premium screens with fantastic picture clarity – and thankfully, some of these are seeing a Black Friday price cut, too.

Best LG TV Black Friday Deals

LG is Samsung’s biggest competitor. The fellow Korean brand offers great, high quality tech, and often undercuts Samsung’s prices to offer appealing deals. This year is no exception.

LG’s top-end OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) range offers a display technology that illuminates each pixel independently, rather than with an LED backlight, for a more vivid image. OLED is brighter, sharper, and more energy-efficient than standard LED screens. And with the Black Friday sales kicking off, you can finally bag an LG OLED at a realistic price.

Looking to spend a little less? No problem – you can find some great LG discounts at the lower end of the price range.

We’ve listed a range of options from LG’s TV lineup, including huge screens, 4K quality, and Smart TV capabilities. Also on the list: a 32-inch 720p resolution TV that comes at a price so low that you might not be able to resist it. Remember, if you’re buying a smaller screen, it matters less if the TV isn’t 4k (or even Full HD, when 32-inches or below).

Best Sony TV Black Friday Deals

Sony TVs come in at premium prices when compared to Samsung and LG. You don’t see truly great value unless you go back to Sony’s 2017 or 2016 sets, at which point you’d be making some compromises. We’ve rounded up some Sony deals below, but for the best discounts, you may want to look to the other brands.

Sony still offers a few unique perks that make it a brand worth considering. One of the TVs we’ve listed below includes the ability to upscale non-4K video for a pseudo-4K effect, thanks to the blur-reducing algorithms behind Sony’s 4K X-Reality PRO feature. The other brands use upscaling technology, too, but Sony’s is deemed among the most effective – a real bonus, given the scarcity of genuine 4K content around.

The TCL brand is a great choice for the cost-conscious consumer. Admittedly, TCL is not as premium as other brands on our list, but judging from most of its user reviews, it still keeps its TV-loving fans happy.

The company offers some of the most eye-catchingly low-priced models on the market, and what more could you ask for when it comes to Black Friday?

Key benefits to watch for in a TCL: Smart TV via Roku TV integration, Dolby Atmos sound, and 4K. The cheapest TCL TV deals are definitely found among the smaller screens, although we’ve included a couple of 55-inch options below.

This year, you’ll see big discounts on TCL’s 2017 models, so we’ve thrown one of those in among the best deals in the 2018 range that we’ve picked out below.

Best Toshiba TV Black Friday Deals

Toshiba is a good brand to consider if you’re after a cut-price TV deal. It’s not at the forefront of TV technology in the way that Samsung, LG or SOny consistently are. But Toshiba puts out respectable TV sets at good prices.

The best deals we’ve spotted so far have been for Toshiba’s ‘Fire TV Edition’ sets, listed below.

The range comes in 43-inch, 50-inch and even 55-inch sizes. For our money, the best deal is the $299 Black Friday price for the 50-inch Toshiba set. That’s a genuinely remarkable price for a 4K TV of this size.
