Looking for a dash cam for a commercial vehicle? We can help you save: Commercial Fleet Pricing

How much should you spend on a dash cam?

Whether you're driving a personal or a commercial vehicle, a dash cam is a brilliant investment. A good quality dash cam can give you peace of mind and protection in the event of a legal claim following an accident or collision.

You can pick up a respectable dash cam from around $50, although at this price point, some of the features may be more limited. You'll be getting Full HD (1080p) recording – which is perfectly respectable, but not as sharp as the Ultra HD recording you'll get by spending closer to the $100 mark. Cheaper dash cams tend to have a narrower lens, recording a bit less of the periphery of the road, and small LCD screens.

Spend $100 or above and you can get even more sophisticated features – sharper recording, a front and rear dual dash cam, larger screens, and extra features such as free cloud storage for your footage.

Are you getting a dash cam for a commercial vehicle? Our advice is not to simply buy from Amazon, or any other retailer – there are savings to be made and extra features for small (or large) fleet owners which can bring you further benefits as a business owner or employee. Use our dash cams pricing quotes form to compare costs on commercial dash cams.
