Maxwell Health was one of five finalists who pitched onstage today in front of the judges and an audience of entrepreneurs and investors. The runner-up was Speek, a faster and simpler conference calling app.

Maxwell Health gets a $10,000 grand prize and possession of the coveted Tech Cocktail Chalice. They also get a host of other perks, including a $500 Zappos gift card, a lifetime membership to CLEAR, SOLO Eyewear frames, a free press release through MarketWired, 10 startup books from O’Reilly, a Ministry of Supply combo pack, and a Sphero robotic gaming system.

Runner-up prizes include a $250 Zappos gift card, SOLO Eyewear frames, and 10 free startup books from O’Reilly.

To get to Celebrate, startups first had to win Reader’s Choice or Best Pitch at one of our local mixer events. Then, 24 startups were chosen from around the country to make the journey to Vegas for the competition, and they were whittled down to five after an initial round of pitching yesterday. The top two winners were selected by a combination of judge, audience, and Tech Cocktail team voting.
