Have you mastered the truly productive day? Even if you have, have you been able to make a habit of that? For many of us, there are just a handful of days throughout which we are able to make the most of the time afforded to us and accomplish most (if not all) of each respective day's to-do list. Optimizing one's day for productivity is certainly hard, but it's not at all impossible.
In a video infographic created by Fast Company, some of the most common (yet underutilized) productivity strategies are laid out. Some of those tips include setting aside specific periods of time throughout the day to respond to emails (as opposed to constantly checking it throughout the day) and actually putting in the time to read (because reading is great – and can lead to improved critical thinking and even the development of empathy). The video breaks down the typical day into times when things should be accomplished (e.g. “3:00 PM – third email check), giving you an actually practical everyday guide.
