SRFR Makes Mobile to TV Video Streaming Easier Than Ever

Because of the recent mobile revolution, the amount of audio and video content swirling around the internet has reached an all-time high. Millions of hours have recorded, saved, viewed. and shared on smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices through more social media pages than you can count. And to make matters even better, the quality of that content is already excellent, and is actually getting better with each new launch.

However, a problem arises when people wanted to view this popular content on something larger than their tiny smartphones. While Chromecast and AirPlay have provided a means of connecting with televisions, a more comprehensive means of streaming your favorite content is necessary to bridge the gap.

SRFR makes all that mass-produced consumer content easy watch on large screens, by developing an app, available for iOS and Android, that makes the connection between mobile devices and smart TVs as seamless as possible.

“We are so excited about the recent launch of SRFR and the success we have seen so far,” said Dan Unger, founder and CEO of SRFR. “Our initial goal was to make it easy to stream videos from your mobile device to your television, and our simple solution allows exactly that. More than 50% of TVs in the US are now Smart TVs, yet most people still do not use their TV to its full potential.”

With this connection, users can effortlessly watch the videos from multiple sources, including the device’s camera roll and videos coming from Facebook and Snapchat. Those videos can also be organized into user-defined playlists and favorites, and shared with friends on Facebook or other personal contacts.

“Additionally, SRFR is currently working on partnering with leading video publishers to extend this technology to millions of users while our talented product team continues to develop enhanced features for the service,” said Unger.

The app has been a success since its launch in the United States, which might be an indication on how the market lacked such a solution. In order to see for yourself, go check SRFR out on their website or in the app store.
