8 Real Estate Startups Joining the MetaProp NYC Accelerator Cohort

With a reputation like “the city that never sleeps,” New York is always on the lookout for new and innovative real estate opportunities. After all, with a population of more than 8 million, finding a place to stay that is affordable and cozy is nothing short of impossible. However, if there is one group of people that can solve the problem, it’s entrepreneurs. And they’ve got an accelerator backing them up.

MetaProp NYC has announced their newest accelerator cohort of real estate startups and they’re tech could make finding a place to live a whole lot easier in the Big Apple. From smart home innovations to data-driven real estate management softwares, these real estate startups are prepared to bring the industry into the 21st century. And frankly, it’s about time.

“Our incoming accelerator cohort is indicative of the increasingly fast global growth and demand for technology solutions across the real estate value chain,” said Aaron Block, cofounder and managing director of MetaProp NYC in a statement.

BlocPower (New  York, NY)

BlocPower markets and finances a portfolio of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies to churches, schools, small businesses, and non-profits in underserved American inner cities.

Doorport (New York, NY)

Doorport is a smartphone video intercom that creates an entirely new experience for guests, residents, and staff.

Hoozip (Washington, DC)

Hoozip offers tools and an online community for real estate wholesalers and investors.

Irene (New York, NY)

Irene is building a solution for senior homeowners to access their home equity in a simple and convenient way, without getting into debt.

OnSiteIQ (New York, NY)

OnSiteIQ is a safety analysis platform that allows construction companies to document and inspect a site through 360-degree imagery.

Streamline (San Francisco, CA)

Streamline helps the real estate industry make data-driven decisions by predicting the outcome of a decision before it’s made.

Travtus (Singapore/London)

Travtus brings AI and machine learning to property management by allowing tenants to request maintenance from their phone and for managers and workers to stay on top of the work.

WeSmartPark (Barcelona, Spain)

WeSmartPark is a mobile application that helps users find parking in Barcelona and Madrid and describes itself as “Airbnb for parking, but automatic.”
