Assistly Focuses on Customer Satisfaction

Assistly focused on making customers smile :)

Assistly a San Diego-based startup

Customer satisfaction is something that is important to every business but for years the emphasis has been on the front end of the customer lifecycle which is primarily sales, rather than on customer service. In the new world of social media and real-time interactions, daily customer care has to be the focus because now customers can talk back with a more powerful voice which can have an impact on business. Many companies and brands have started to embrace their customers on social platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, but doing so can be a very manual and tedious process and is just a part of the answer.

Assistly, a San Diego-based startup, looks to help companies make their customers happy by creating an enterprise grade, multi-channel support platform wrapped in a smart, intuitive interface. Assistly offers a dashboard for managing customer interactions by phone, chat, twitter, and more. With an easy to use queuing system, your company can now easily stay on top of customer interactions with the goal of turning your customers into evangelists.

Assistly has a wealth of startup experience as they are made up of the former Goowy Media team that was acquired by Aol in 2008. Assistly also has Mark Cuban and David Liu as advisors. I had a chance to work with the team while we were all at Aol and they were great to work with so I am sure they will stay true to their mission of making customers smile. :)

Assistly is planning to launch a beta product in February and is currently looking for beta partners. In a recent Assistly blog post they explained what they are looking for in more detail:

We’d like to have approximately 20 companies participate in this beta, ideally with a good mix between larger companies and startups, and in various industries.  This beta period will give us a chance to fine tune the product and get real world feedback to ensure that it’s meeting the needs of our customers.  As a beta customer you will most likely have to put up with more bugs than in a finished product, but the upside is that you will get to influence our product early on.  The beta is completely free, and in addition, as an active beta participant, you will receive special pricing going forward.

We are excited the Assistly team will be on hand at the upcoming TECH cocktail San Diego event to share a demo of their new product and answer any questions. If you’re interested in participating in the beta, please send an email to beta@assistly.com. I look forward to seeing Assistly in San Diego!
