5 Contract Management Platforms to Streamline Your Deal Flow

Previously I’ve had jobs where my primary role was managing contracts – I am having flashbacks just thinking about it. Just the structure alone is tedious, much less the verifying information, discovering precedent and relevant details, fine proofing every last bit of legalese, making sure it is airtight, getting it signed, filing it and then keeping track of amendments, disputes and deadlines can be stressful. Thankfully a lot has changed thanks to automation and choosing the best software can help streamline your deal flow and provide security.

Here are five contract management platforms that can take your business to the next level.

Concord

Concord

A lot of really big names use Concord, such as Johnson and Johnson and Sony Music. When looking at their feature list it isn’t hard to see why. They don’t stuff it full of useless features, they keep it on point. The idea is to manage contracts through their full lifecycle, not just their creation and signing.

Once they have been filed the platform keeps watching them, sending reminders and giving you information to continue managing compliance, whether the contract is for a day or twenty years.

KeepSolid Sign

Maybe your business is not yet the size of Sony Music and you just need something simple and affordable. KeepSolid Sign is a free solution (while in beta) and provides a secure platform for e-signing your documents.

With it, you can easily import your documents in the PDF format fromGoogle Drive, Evernote, Dropbox, iCloud Drive, Storage, or Finder, invite people to sign, add and manage annotations and monitor the status of the documents.

Agiloft

With Agiloft, I like that they also have license management and workflow management attached to the platform, so you can more smoothly integrate multiple facets that are relevant to the average business that requires contracts.

They are also a low cost option for what you are getting, with a free version and several premium options. The only criticism I have is that is a bit harder to figure out than the others, but if you take the time to do so it is worth it.

APTTUS

Artificial intelligence is becoming a staple of modern management software across the board. Everyone wants something that will effectively automate the more boring processes of their workflow and APTTUS does it really well.

Their program is very accurate and direct and while you still have to monitor things, you have a lot less to do than with most programs.

Updraft

This one is my personal favorite and not just because of the adorable demo video on the main page.

I like that Updraft works by curating information in real time and building the contract as you go, while creating relevant documents in the background that may also be needed. It is thorough, fast and easy to use, automating deadline reminders and keeping you abreast of changes when they happen.
